We are located in North Central Illinois in the heart of corn and soybean farm country. Our backgrounds stem from large animal/livestock experience. We currently raise a large range of livestock and have decided to add these unique animals to our family farm. After taking a large variety of animal and livestock related classes in college I became more interested in breeding dogs and aquired our loving lady, Foxy, from my college professor, Dale Hummel. Classes such as, breeding and genetics, feeds and nutrition, livestock evaluation and companion animal classes have benefited me greatly in this new adventure.
My fiance Leslie and I, care for and manage our danes and livestock. I am also from a family of 13 children which interact with the danes and the animals on the farm on a daily basis. Our puppies are usually very gently and social, stemming from the care and interaction from the children.
These amazing dogs have brought a wonderful change to our farm and our lives over the past several years. We currently only have one breeding female, Foxy, but hope to get another one in the near future. “ Affectionate” doesn’t begin to describe her. Great Danes are extremely loving, loyal and simply beautiful creatures. They truly are gentle giants.
